What we do with your council tax
This page contains poster with information how we spend the Council tax we recieve.
The Parish of Kings Worthy is approximately 3.7 Miles from the centre of Winchester and incorporates the villages of Abbots Worthy & Kings Worthy. These villages together make the parish one of the largest in the Winchester district encompassing some 3.45 square miles from Worthy Down camp in the north, to the edge of the South Downs National Park in the south.
The smaller village of Abbots Worthy located east of the A33, is a quaint village which is home to beautiful historical houses and fantastic walks along the Itchen and the historic St Swithuns Way. The village sits just within the South Downs National Park.
Kings Worthy is the larger village nestled between the A34 to the west and the A33 to the east. The numerous trees, hedges and open spaces throughout the village creates a very green semi-rural appearance and feel. The Parish is surrounded by open countryside with many rural footpaths just a stone’s throw away.
