NOTICE OF CO-OPTION

PARISH COUNCIL OF KINGS WORTHY

VACANCY FOR ONE COUNCILLOR

1. There is one vacancy on the above council, and they will be filled by co-option at the full Council meeting to be held on Monday 29th June 2026

2. Nominations are invited and should be sent in writing to the Clerk at the address below or by email no later than Midday on Friday 26th June 2026.

The co-option will be undertaken in line with the Parish Council’s co-option policy, a copy of which is available on our website (address below) or upon request from the Parish Office (contact details below).

Prospective candidates must confirm in writing that they are eligible to stand as a Parish Councillor, having reviewed both the qualifications and disqualifications.

Information on both how to apply and the eligibility criteria (including qualifications and disqualifications) can be found in our co-option policy. This policy also includes links to general information on becoming a Parish Councillor.
